What are the full eligibility requirements for the program?

To join IID’s EnergyFlex program with a smart thermostat, you must:

• Be an IID residential electric customer with a smart meter installed at your home.
• Have an eligible WiFi-enabled smart thermostat. See which brands we support.
• Have an always-on home Wi-Fi network.
• Use your smart thermostat to control central air conditioning or an electric heat pump.

To join IID’s EnergyFlex program without a smart device, you must:

• Be an IID residential electric customer with a smart meter installed at your home.
• Not already enrolled in EnergyFlex with a smart thermostat.
